The Los Angeles Lakers are in Memphis Tuesday to face the Grizzlies in a game that could have important playoff implications. The Grizzlies are all but locked into the two seed, but the Lakers are fighting for their play-in lives. They currently sit 12th in the West (29-32), but are just two games away from fifth in the loss column, so every game counts.
The Lakers will be without LeBron James and D'Angelo Russell, both of whom are dealing with foot injuries. James is expected to miss extended time with a foot injury he sustained Sunday while Russell is doubtful as he nurses a sprained ankle. Steven Adams remains out for Memphis.
