The Kent State Golden Flashes and Georgia Bulldogs face off on Saturday in a Week 4 college football showdown at Sanford Stadium.
Kent State comes into this game with a 1-2 record overall but they have played a tough schedule. Kent State’s only win came against LIU Brooklyn and they lost games against Oklahoma and Washington. Against Washington, they scored 20 points, but against Oklahoma, they only managed three points. Under center for Kent State is Collin Schlee and in the last game, he completed 10 of his 12 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns. Marquez Cooper had 18 carries for 89 yards and two touchdowns. In this game, the defense is going to need to be good, because scoring points are going to be hard to come by in this game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Georgia Bulldogs and they sit with a perfect 3-0 record. Georgia has beaten Oregon, Samford, and South Carolina so far this season. Over the three games, Georgia has given up 10 points total. In the last game against South Carolina, Stetson Bennett had another big game completing 16 of his 23 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns. He also had three carries for 36 yards and a touchdown. If Bennett plays the rest of the season the way he has right now, this is a team that can win the national title.
