For the first time since 2008, the Kansas Jayhawks are set to play in the college football postseason when they clash with the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Liberty Bowl.
The vast majority of KU's (7-4 -1 ATS, 8-4 O/U) success this season came in the first two months. The Jayhawks got off to a 5-0 start before their momentum stalled in Big 12 play. Kansas lost six of seven to end the season, but knocked off Oklahoma State in early November to clinch bowl eligibility.
In a similar vein, Arkansas (6-6 ATS, 9-3 O/U) also limped its way to the finish line after a strong start to the regular season. The Razorbacks only went 3-5 in SEC play, but picked up a couple of quality nonconference wins over Cincinnati and BYU. After routing Ole Miss for its sixth win of the year, the Hogs lost to rival Missouri in the season finale.
