Kansas State vs. Baylor Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-12-2022

The Baylor Bears (6-3, 4-2) will host the Kansas State Wildcats (6-3, 4-2) in a Big 12 showdown Saturday night on FS1. The Wildcats come into this game ranked No. 19 in the College Football Playoff Rankings.

Kansas State was expected to be a middle-of-the-pack team, voted to finish fifth in the Big 12 Media Preseason Poll, but it's worth mentioning that that very same poll tabbed TCU seventh. The Wildcats are in a three-way tie for second in the conference. They dominated Oklahoma State 48-0 two weeks ago but lost to Texas 34-27 last Saturday.

The Wildcats are 15th in the nation rushing for 201.1 yards per game, led by Deuce Vaugh with 975 yards on 5.6 yards per attempt. Quarterback Adrian Martinez is second on the team with 617 yards while averaging 5.8 yards per rush and a team-best 10 touchdowns. Martinez has also thrown six touchdowns and one interception, and the passing attack is 105th with 201.1 yards per game. The Wildcats are averaging 30.6 ppg and allowing just 19.1. They are 58th allowing 218.9 passing yards per game, and 74th giving up 149.9 rushing yards.
