Kansas is ready to start accepting your bets for the NFL season.
On Thursday, Gov. Laura Kelly announced that Kansas will begin allowing bets to be placed on Sept. 1, with sports betting officially opening on Sept. 8, according to a news release. Sports betting will be overseen by the Kansas Lottery.
