Brady Singer will take the mound Tuesday at Chase Field, and the 26-year-old right-hander is 1-2 with an ugly 8.14 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in four starts (21 innings pitched) this season.
Singer pitched five innings of a one-run ball in his first start of the season on April 3, and the Royals outlasted the Toronto Blue Jays 9-5 at home. Since then, the talented righty has yielded a staggering 18 earned runs on 24 hits across 16 innings of work. Singer met the Diamondbacks once in 2022 and took a victory while surrendering just one run (solo homer) on four hits through seven innings.
