The Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders face off on Saturday in a Week 18 NFL showdown at Allegiant Stadium. When these two teams faced off in October it was the Chiefs that secured the 30-29 victory.
The Chiefs come into this game with a 13-3 record overall and they have gone 4-11-1 against the spread. The Chiefs have been winning games, but they have had issues covering spreads. In the last game against the Denver Broncos, the Chiefs played down to their competition and were only able to win 27-24. Patrick Mahomes completed 29 of his 42 passes for 328 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Jerick McKinnon caught five passes for 52 yards and two touchdowns. The Chiefs are averaging 29.1 points while their defense is giving up 22.3 points per game. Mecole Hardman has been activated from the IR and he could play in this game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Las Vegas Raiders who sit with a 6-10 record overall and they have gone 8-8 against the spread. The Raiders made a change at quarterback heading into the last game and it almost resulted in a win. Jarrett Stidham led the Raiders to 34 points and they only lost by three points in overtime. Stidham completed 23 of his 34 passes for 365 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Davante Adams had a huge game catching seven passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns. The Raiders are averaging 23.8 points while their defense is giving up 24.2 points per game.
