The Kansas Jayhawks will make the one-hour trip to Manhattan to face the Kansas State Wildcats in Big 12 play from the Bramlage Coliseum on ESPN. Kansas and Kansas State have faced off in the Sunflower Showdown in every season since 1907. The Jayhawks lead the all-time series 203-94, and they’ve won the last five matchups.

Kansas improved to 16-1 after defeating Iowa State at home. The Jayhawks outlasted the Cyclones in a contested affair, and came away with the two-point victory. Kansas is scoring 76.9 points per game, while allowing 65.2 ppg, and shooting 47.1% from the floor.

Kansas is on the cusp of returning to the top of the AP polls, and they look like the favorites in a packed Big 12 conference. Jalen Wilson is thriving in a bigger role this season, and after double-doubling against the Cyclones, he leads KU in scoring (19.8) and rebounding (8.9). Gradey Dick paced the team with 22 points in the win over ISU, and he’s up to 14.6 ppg. TTU transfer Kevin McCullar Jr. and sophomore KJ Adams Jr. both average double figures, with the former grabbing 7.2 rpg.
