Bengals awaiting tests on Burrow
Bengals QB and NFL MVP second favorite Joe Burrow left practice on a cart on Thursday after suffering what appeared to be a calf injury. It was confirmed after practice by head coach Zac Taylor that it was a calf strain and not something more serious, but Burrow did have a compression sleeve on his calf throughout practice and then pulled up lame on a scramble.
Bengals beat writer Mike Petraglia was filming when the injury happened:

Taylor says the Bengals are waiting for more information to determine the severity. It would not be a surprise to see Burrow miss some or all of the preseason out of an abundance of caution and that would seem to be a best-case scenario.
