Jenkins: I'm Stunned Alabama is Still Favored to Win the National Championship

The latest AP Poll for college football rankings is out, and Georgia is now No. 1 even though Alabama is still favored to win the national championship. The discrepancy between the poll and the odds caught the attention of Michael Jenkins and Chelsa Messinge r on the Daily Tip. And Jenkins is surprised this poll did not lead to an odds shift.

“I'm a little stunned that Alabama is still the favorite,” Jenkins said. “I can see why they've dropped back based on that performance against Texas. … I'm a little stunned here. I think Georgia is the best team in the country and they deserve to be No. 1, but maybe this is money that came in early on the season. I thought we would wake up this morning and say Georgia has overtaken Alabama, Georgia is the favorite.”
