Jason Day U.S. Open Prediction 2023

Jason Day racked up solid performance after performance when he first burst onto the U.S. Open scene. He tallied five top-10 finishes in his first six appearances, highlighted by second-place and T2 finishes in 2011 and 2013. Having said that, he's missed the cut twice in his last four entries and hasn't entered the event since 2020.

As far as the current golf season goes, Day's played to a mixed bag of results. He's seen his fair share of positives, winning AT&T Byron Nelson and plac ing inside the top 10 in seven of 18 events. At the same time, he's been cut in three of his past four events and couldn't place better than T39 at the first two major tournaments of the year.

At the end of the day, I'd stay away from Jason Day entirely when it comes to betting. His latest performances have left a lot to be desired and the fact that he hasn't competed at the U.S. Open in three years also raises some flags. That isn't to say that he won't have a decent showing, however, putting any amount of money down isn't worth the risk.
