A pair of AFC South teams renew their acquaintance and discontent with one another on the gridiron in a week 6 matchup emanating from the Hoosier State. The Jacksonville Jaguars are on the road as they make the trip to face the Indianapolis Colts Sunday afternoon. Jacksonville took a 13-6 home loss to Houston in their most recent contest last Sunday. Indianapolis picked up a narrow 12-9 overtime win over Denver on the road in their previous contest last Thursday, giving them a couple extra days of rest and preparation time. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Colts own a 26-17 advantage but the Jaguars have taken two straight and four of the last six matchups. That includes a 24-0 home victory in the first meeting this season back on September 18.

The Jaguars held a commanding 422-248 edge in total offense, picked up 22 first downs while allowing 15 and didn’t surrender a sack yet still lost. Jacksonville lost the time of possession battle 31:47 to 28:13 and committed the game’s lone two turnovers. One of those was a pick in the end zone on the opening drive of the second half. They also turned the ball over on downs three times in the contest.

Riley Patterson has hit all 10 extra point attempts and nine of 10 field goal attempts with a long of 52 this season.

Jacksonville had a fairly tame injury report when it was released Thursday. Defensive lineman Folorunso Fatukasi (quad), defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton, wide receiver Zay Jones (ankle) and linebacker Foyesade Oluokun (calf) were each limited in practice. Keep an eye out for updates on their respective statuses leading into kickoff.
