It’s a non-conference clash on the hardwood as a team from the Horizon League takes on a program from the Big Ten in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. The IUPUI Jaguars are on the road as they make the trip to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a battle of struggling teams Tuesday night. IUPUI was dropped 75-58 on the road by Eastern Illinois in their previous contest Thursday night, failing to cover the line as a five-point underdog. Minnesota rolled past Florida Gulf Coast 77-57 at home in their previous contest, covering the line as an eight-point favorite, Saturday. This marks the first time that the programs have met on the hardwood as Division I foes.
