The IUPUI Jaguars and the Robert Morris Colonials will face off in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament from the UPMC Events Center on ESPN+.
IUPUI finished at 5-26 after losing to Youngstown State at home. The Jags stuck with the Pens in the first half, but they fell behind after the break and lost by 14 points, 93-79. IUPUI scores 65.3 points per game, while allowing 73.4 ppg, and shooting 45.8% from the field.
IUPUI endured another rough season, but after beating Robert Morris in the final week of the season, they may have a small ounce of life heading into this first round matchup. The Jaguars went 2-18 in Horizon League play, with a 0-14 road record. Sophomore guard JLynn Counter has been one of the lone spots for IUPUI this season, and he leads the team in scoring at 14.2 ppg. Freshman guard Vincent Brady II finished second on the team in scoring (10.9), after reaching double figures in six of the final seven games.
