Ovechkin's shooting percentage on the year is a comically low 4.8, nearly 10 points lower than last season's mark. He's shot below 10.5% just once in an entire season, and that was an 8.7% mark back in 2010-11. Still, that prior career-low is nearly double his present percentage.
The bottom line is Ovechkin didn't suddenly forget how to put pucks past goalies at age 38, he's just been criminally unlucky. As long as he continues to pepper netminders with shots, and the market there is priced fairly, he'll start cashing on these goal props at solid odds.

Horvat isn't far behind Barzal with 10 PPPs on the year compared to 13 for the latter.
