The Los Angeles Lakers will fight for their playoff lives on Tuesday with an NBA Play-In Tournament game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. One player's status to keep an eye on ahead of tip-off is LeBron James, who's on the injury report with a foot ailment.
LeBron James Injury Update (4/11/2023)
James is officially listed as probable to suit up against Minnesota, which is no surprise given the magnitude of this contest. It would take a major catastrophe for him not to play, especially since this issue didn't sideline him down the stretch of the regular season.
James' foot injury has been well-documented at this point. The four-time league MVP missed 13 games while tending to a torn tendon in his right foot, though he was able to return at the end of March to gives Los Angeles the boost it needed ahead of the postseason.

It took the 38-year-old a little bit to get back to his high standard of play, but he's turned it on as of late. James is averaging 30.5 points, 6.3 assists and 6.3 rebounds over his last four games, showing that he won't have any major limitations in the playoffs.
LeBron James Fantasy Outlook and Prop Bets Today
LeBron James is listed with over/unders of 28.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's'NBA odds. James had no trouble on the boards when he played against the Wolves recently on March 31, rec ording 10 rebounds. His life in the paint should get even easier with Rudy Gobert (11.6 RPG) unavailable, so I like the over on his rebound total (-104) here.
James is also listed among the top options on the FanDuel DFS slate, checking in with the second-most expensive price tag overall ($10,900). With the injury rust behind him, the 19-time All-Star is certainly worth inserting into lineups. He's put up at least 53.0 FanDuel fantasy points in three of his last four outings, and had a healthy 45.0 in his most recent matchup against Minnesota.
