The Iowa Hawkeyes started last week with a disappointing home loss to Maryland but bounced back to defeat Michigan, 88-78, on the road on Saturday. The Hawkeyes were once again led by their high-flying offense. Payton Sandfort led both teams with 26 points, matching his career-high for points. He scored 21 of those 26 points in the second half which including six 3-point field goals overall and five in the second half. Tony Perkins added 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting while adding five assists and three steals.
