The Iowa State Cyclones have now dropped two out of three games to fall to 15-5 on the season and have fallen out of the top 10 and are now ranked 12th in the country. On Saturday in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, Iowa State fell on the road to Missouri by the score of 78-61. Iowa State allowed the most points they've given up in regulation all season. Missouri launched 30 3pt field goals on the day and drilled 47% of the long range shots. The Cyclones were led by Jaren Holmes, who had 19 points, and Gabe Kalscheur's 14 points.

The Cyclones will hope to return to their winning ways on Monday against the Red Raiders. Iowa State is still atop the Big 12 standings with a record of 6-2 this season, tied with Texas and Kansas State. Iowa State comes into this contest with the eighth ranked scoring offense in the Big 12. The Cyclones are fifth in the conference in field goal percentage and fifth in 3pt field goal percentage. Defensively, Iowa State is ranked first in the conference in scoring defense. The team is fifth in opponent's field goal percentage and seventh in 3pt defense. Iowa State is just ninth in the Big 12 in rebounding but the Cyclones are first in fewest turnovers per game.
