Teams with tournament hopes are going to lock horns again, when the #17 Indiana Hoosiers (19-8, 13-13-1 ATS, 10-6 Big Ten) take a trip to East Lansing to face the Michigan State Spartans (16-10, 13-13-0 ATS, 8-7 Big Ten). These schools met on January 22, with Indiana coming out on top 82-69 as 4.5-point favorites. It snapped a three-game Spartans winning streak over the Hoosiers. This battle is scheduled to start in Michigan State's Breslin Center at 9:00 p.m. EST.

Saturday's comeback win over Illinois got the Hoosiers back in the win column, marking their ninth victory over an 11-game stretch. Trayce Jackson-Davis' 26-point, 12-rebound double-double led the charge from a nine-point deficit in the second half. He also passed Indiana's head coach, Mike Woodson, for fifth all-time in Indiana scoring history. The Hoosiers held Illinois to three points over the final 3:54 of the game.

The AP poll has Indiana at #17 in the nation, and KenPom has them at #20. They're pretty much a lock for an NCAA Tournament berth, even if the latest projections have seen them fall to a five-seed. Away games have plagued Indiana a bit, as they're only 4-6 on the road.

Big Ten basketball is some of the best in the country, and Indiana's offense is second in scoring in a tough conference, putting up 75.8 a night. The Hoosiers have the sixth-highest shooting percentage in the nation, hitting 49.2% of their shots from the field. They're just as deadly from three, hitting 38.0%, 22nd nationally and second in the Big Ten.

On defense, Indiana surrenders 67.0 points per game, eighth in the conference. However, they're one of the best schools in the NCAA at forcing misses, as foes only shoot 40.8% against them, 40th nationwide. That number is aided by the Hoosiers' 5.3 blocks per game, the 10th-most in t he nation.
