The Evansville Purple Aces (4-19, 0-12) will host the Indiana State Sycamores (14-9, 7-5) on Wednesday in a Missouri Valley Conference matchup. Indiana State beat Evansville 91-63 as a 15.5-point home favorite on December 29.
Indiana State only went 11-20 last season and 4-14 in the conference. Now in the second year under head coach Josh Schertz, the Sycamores gave seen substantial improvements. After getting off to a 6-0 start in the MVC this season, Indiana State ran into a five-game losing streak, before winning 79-71 on Saturday against Northern Iowa.
