The Indiana Pacers’ west-coast road trip continues Friday, December 2, 2022, when they face off against the Utah Jazz at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the tip-off at 9:00 PM ET. “Tough game,” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. “This game is on me. I didn’t have them prepared for what was coming. The transition points really tell the story of the game. We were a step slow.”

The Pacers shot just 40.0% from the field against the Kings and went 12-for-37 from beyond the 3-point line (32.4%). Jalen Smith and Bennedict Mathurin accounted for 22 points apiece, Buddy Hield added 17 points and four rebounds, while Tyrese Haliburton had nine points, ten assists, and a minus-24 net rating.
The Pacers are scoring 113.1 points per 100 possessions (13th in the NBA) on 53.0 effective field goal percentage (17th) while surrendering 112.8 points in a return (tied-16th) on 53.7 effective field goal percentage (tied-17th).
