The Pacers have had talent the last few seasons but suddenly, seem to be doing something with it. Their performances over the last few weeks has already shown the growth of this team, but finding consistency is the next step. They’ve still found a way to lose three of their last four games, with the lone win coming against Detroit, as they aim to right the ship in this one. They have a winning record on the road this season at 6-5 but with this one marking their sixth straight road game, life away from home has to be taking its toll. A win in this one would turn heads yet again, though might be asking too much.

Indiana has a few players listed on the injury report, including one key name. All eyes will be on the status of Tyrese Haliburton, who carries a questionable designation into this one. Add in Andrew Nembhard being in a similar position and the backcourt could be depleted in th is one.

The Pacers play at one of the fastest paces in the league but going on the road could make it a challenge for them to dictate their will on this one. Add in the potential that they could be without their leading scorer and a potential MVP candidate and the prospects of finding a win on Saturday look grim. Myles Turner will have to take on a strong role in the middle on both ends for the Pacers, as the matchup disadvantages seem to be growing. Not only will exerting their pace be a struggle but against one of the league’s best defenses, even finding scoring could come into question on Saturday. Depth will have to carry the way again but even that might not be enough.
