The Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers play the first game of a two game set Saturday night in Detroit. The Pistons are reeling, losers of 10 straight as they sit at 15-52 while the Pacers are 30-37. These two last played way back in October, as the Pacers won 122-115 in Indianapolis. Tipoff for this game is at 7:00 p.m. EST on Saturday at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

The Indiana Pacers are hanging around and find themselves at 30-37 overall. they sit 12th in the eastern Conference, but they are just a half game behind 11th place Chicago and 1.5 games behind 10th place Washington. The Pacers have won 2 of their last 3 games and are coming off a 134-125 over the Rockets at home in overtime. Indiana was pounded on the glass, but made up for it with 12 steals, 15 blocked shots, and forcing 16 turnovers against Houston.

Myles Turner had a ridiculous 7 blocked shots himself, to go along with 21 points and 5 rebounds. But the ridiculous stat line of the night went to Tyrese Halliburton, who had 19 assists, to go along with 29 points. Halliburton is second in the NBA with 10.4 assists per game, along with 20.8 points per contest. Buddy Hield also had a good night with 17 points including 5 three pointers.

“He took over the game in the overtime,” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said of Halliburton, according to the Indianapolis Star. “He certainly has demonstrated that's what he's about. He loves those moments very much the way Reggie Miller loved those moments. He doesn't get discouraged if some things during the game don't go exactly his way. He stays aggressive and he has great confidence. That gives the team great confidence. He was just amazing in the overtime.”
