Indiana Pacers at Orlando Magic – 1/25/23 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Indiana Pacers and the Orlando Magic duke it out at the Amway Center on Wednesday night.

The Indiana Pacers have been in poor form as they were on a seven-game losing streak before they snapped out of it with a 116-110 home win over the Bulls last night. Myles Turner and Bennedict Mathurin each scored 26 points, TJ McConnell added 20 points with 10 assists while Buddy Hield chipped in with 19 points. As a team, the Pacers shot just 42 percent from the field and 10 of 37 from the 3-point line as they struggled in the first half and fell behind by as many as 21 points, before they came to life with 70 points in the second half to pull off the unlikely victory.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have been in decent form as they’ve split their last 10 games and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the shorthanded Celtics in a 113-98 home win on Monday. Paolo Banchero led the team with 23 points, Wendell Carter Jr. added 21 points with 11 rebounds while Cole Anthony chipped in with 18 points, five rebounds and four assists off the bench. As a team, the Magic  shot 51 percent from the field and 11 of 27 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Celtics in the first half, before they dominated the second half by 58-44 to take full advantage of a Celtics team missing their two best point guards.
