The Indiana Pacers invade the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse to battle the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.
The Indiana Pacers have been in a rut as they’ve lost six of their last nine games overall but they will be looking to build some momentum after beating the Warriors in a 125-119 home win on Wednesday. Tyrese Haliburton led the way with 29 points and six assists on nine of 17 shooting, Myles Turner added 21 points on eight of 11 shooting while Buddy Hield chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Pacers shot 50 percent from the field and 16 of 39 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with 47 points in the second quarter to build a 25-point lead which proved to be just enough in the end as the Warriors rallied late.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall and they will be looking to stay hot after routing the Mavericks in a 105-90 road win on Wednesday. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 34 points on 13 of 20 shooting, Lamar Stevens added 18 points with 11 rebounds while Evan Mobley tallied 14 points with seven rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 52 percent from the field and eight of 24 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Mavericks from the start and never looked in trouble after dominating the first half by 60-41.
