Our Illinois vs. Nebraska player props will capitalize on a surprising marquee matchup in Week 4.

There is no way anyone saw both teams ranked and undefeated entering Friday's matchup before the season. But that just makes the stakes even higher for a Big Ten opener between No. 24 Illinois and No. 22 Nebraska.

As part of our Week 4 college football predictions, along with my Illinois vs. Nebraska prediction and my Illinois vs. Nebraska early picks, here are the best prop bets for Friday's showdown.

Illinois vs. Nebraska college football player prop bets: Friday

Odds as of Tuesday and subject to change.

  • Dylan Raiola Under 224.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ????
  • Kaden Feagin anytime touchdown (+150 via bet365) ???
  • Dylan Raiola Under 8.5 rushing yards (-133 via Caesars) ?? ??

Nebraska true freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola has impressed through three weeks. He has thrown for 670 passing yards, clearing this prop in two of those games.

But this will be his toughest test yet.

In Raiola's previous marquee matchup, he threw for 185 yards against Colorado. Illinois ranks 29th in the country in EPA per pass allowed, which features an impressive showing against Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels.

With a projection of 195 yards, this Under has solid value at FanDuel.

Illinois running back Feagin has scored three touchdowns in as many games, and it's not difficult to see why that might be the case.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pound tailback can be a handful to take down to the ground, especially in the red zone. He's averaging 4.1 yards per carry this season, with most of his damage coming in the season opener.

Nebraska ranks 103rd in the country in rushing success rate allowed, which makes Feagin's rushing prop worth a look. But I prefer the +150 price on his anytime touchdown odds, as a $10 bet nets a $15 profit.

It's not easy to tell by looking at the box scores, but Raiola isn't much of a scrambler. In fact, PFF has only credited him with one scramble through three weeks.

Raiola has 14 rushing yards on the season on six rushing attempts, finishing below this mark in two games. But what I like about this prop so much is that Illinois can help get us home by putting pressure on Raiola.

The Fighting Illini rank 15th in the country in PFF pass-rush grade through three weeks. They are averaging two sacks per game. If they replicate that in Week 4, this Under has better than a 57.08% chance of getting to the window.
