Newly constructed Snapdragon Stadium will play host to a Saturday afternoon college football battle between the Idaho State Bengals and the San Diego State Aztecs. The FCS Bengals managed just one win last season and opened this season with a 52-21 road loss against UNLV. Idaho State was torched for 45 first-half points and surrendered 554 total yards for the game.

The Aztecs (0-1) were outgained by a 461-232 margin and gave up four touchdown passes.
Virginia Tech transfer QB Braxton Burmeister threw a touchdown and finished the day with an ugly 17.1 QBR. The Aztecs had eight different players carry the ball for a combined 170 yards on 42 attempts.
