It wasn't the prettiest of games, as it was just 6-6 well into the fourth quarter. Finally, with just over three minutes left, we got a touchdown, as rookie Dameon Pierce scored on a one yard touchdown run to give the Texans a 13-6 lead, which was the final score.

The Texans only had 248 total yards in the game, while the Jags had 422 yards. The Texans only had 15 first downs while the Jags had 22 first downs. But the Jaguars couldn't convert in the red zone or on third downs, and the Texans turned them over twice, with two interceptions. Davis Mills was a very pedestrian 16 for 24 for 140 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Pierce provided most of the offense with 99 rushing yards and 3 catches out of the backfield for 14 yards. The Texans offense is anemic, averaging 17.2 points per game, which ranks 26th in the league. The defense allows 19.8 points per game, which ranks 13th. Among the injuries, wide receiver Nico Collins is questionable.
