The Houston Rockets, one of the youngest teams in the NBA, will continue their rebuild this offseason after another losing campaign. Houston has 21 wins on the season and is currently tied with the Spurs for the second-worst record in the NBA. On Friday night, for just the fifth time this season, the Rockets won consecutive games after defeating the Hornets 112-109. Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green both had 26 points to lead the way while Alperen Sengun added 14 points and 21 rebounds.

“It shows that we definitely have a solid foundation for the future and that these guys work, work and work and, like we said at the All-Star break, we want to be playing our best at the end of the season,” said Rockets' head coach Stephen Silas, whose team is 8-15 since the break, “It wasn’t a great game by any stretch. But it was a win. To have ugly win is something we haven’t done much.”& #13;

After losing seven straight games, the Rockets have won three of their last four games. The team is healthier than they've been in some time with the return of Kevin Porter Jr. at point guard in recently. On the season, Houston is just 27th in scoring defense. The Rockets are allowing teams to score over 118 points per game. In their last three wins, the Rockets have held the opposition to 109 points per game.

Key Injuries: Jae'Sean Tate is out.
