The Houston Astros and Detroit TIgers face off on Wednesday in an MLB showdown at Comerica Park. The Astros have won the first two games of this series.

In each of the three games, the offense has been strong, and it’s going to be important in this game that they run up the score again. The Astros offense is ranked 9th in the league but the pitching has been the real strength giving up 3.25 runs per game which is second in the league. Yordan Alvarez has hit 33 home runs and driven in 84 RBIs.
On the other side of this matchup is the Tigers who sit with a 54-88 record overall and they have lost three games in a row. The Tigers offense has been an issue this season and they are averaging only 3.31 runs per game which is 30th in the league. The pitching hasn’t been a whole lot better giving up 4.46 runs per game.
