The Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves face off on Friday in an MLB game at SunTrust Park. If all goes to according to plan for both of these teams, this could be a World Series preview.
The Astros currently sit with a 77-43 record overall and they are coming off quite the victory in the last game. The offense put up 21 runs against the Chicago White Sox and that led to the victory. The Astros offense has been strong, but even more impressive has been the pitching. The Astros are giving up 3.33 runs per game which is second best in the league. Kyle Tucker has hit 21 home runs and driven in 80 RBIs.
On the other side of this matchup is the Braves who sit with a 73-47 record overall and in the last series against the New York Mets they were able to win three of the four games. On Thursday the pitching was strong giving up only two runs and that led to the defeat. The Braves are averaging 4.88 runs which is 3rd best in the league. Matt Olson has hit 25 home runs and driven in 79 RBIs.
