The Cardinals and Rockies meet for the first time this season with their first series coming at Coors Field. Colorado will send Ryan Feltner who has been poor when he's pitched this season which hasn't been much.
He's given up seven home runs in 40.2 innings pitched in total. He's pitched much more on the road this season than at home, but in those home starts he's given up seven earned runs including two home runs in 13.1 innings pitched.
This makes for a great matchup for Nolan Arenado who has been arguably the leagues best hitter in August with a .476 average for the month including three home runs. Half of Arenado's 22 home runs have come on the road and he posts a .312 average against righties opposed to hitting only .246 again st lefties.
