Giancarlo Stanton has been subpar since his return from injury on August 25th. He hasn't hit a home run yet and hasn't hit one in his last seven games played.
He and the Yankees get Jose Suarez and the Angels tonight. Stanton is 2-4 with a home run all-time against Suarez and although he hasn't faced an Angels pitcher this season, he hits .320 all-time against current Angels starting and relief pitchers.
For some reason, Stanton is a much better hitter when he's playing in the field as opposed to DH so be sure to check where manager Aaron Boone has him slotted in the lineup before first pitch.
