Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Bo Bichette (+400)

We were thrown into a buzzsaw yesterday with the Yankees pitching changes but it looks like Domingo German will be surely getting the start tonight for the pinstripes.

Since we struck out with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. yesterday, let's go with Bo Bichette who is 3-11 with two home runs in his career against German. For what it's worth he also has home runs off New York relievers Clay Holmes and Ryan Weber in his career as well.

German is known as a fly ball pitcher which will help our home run play tonight. Bichette has a home run every 21 at-bats on the season and it's been 21 at-bats since his last home run so we should see Bichette hitting one in the very near future.

German sports a 5.79 road ERA allowing three home runs in 14 innings pitched. He's already pitched once against Toronto this season going six innings and allowing four earned runs including two home runs.

Take Bichette to hit a home run tonight at +400 with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. listed at +285 and Matt Chapman at +320 to hit home run tonight. They both have home runs off German in their career's as well.

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Juan Soto (+460)

The Padres opened up their 3-game set with the Royals last night with a 4-0 win and attempt to duplicate that success tonight.

They should have a good shot with the Royals sending Brady Singer to the mound who has been struggling on the season. Juan Soto has been stellar this month batting .354 to go along with two home runs. He bats .296 on the season against righties compared to only .163 against lefties.

Soto had 27 home runs last season with five of them coming in May (then with the Nationals). If he wants a shot at 25-30 home runs this season he has to hit a few more this month with tonight looking like a great opportunity to hit one out of Petco Park.

Like German, Singer is also a fly ball pitcher which again enhances our chances of Soto hitting a home run tonight.

Take Soto to hit a home run at +460 with other Padres to consider hitting a home run include Fernando Tatis Jr. (+285) and Matt Carpenter (+600).
