Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Nick Castellanos (+340)

In the Phillies first go-around with the Rockies Nick Castellanos went 6-16 with two home runs in their four-game series at Citizens Bank Park.

These two teams will kick off a three-game set tonight at Coors Field with the Rockies sending Austin Gomber to the mound.

Although Gomber sits with a 6.75 ERA he has rounded into form recently but Castellanos has loved facing left-handed pitching.

This season Castellanos is hitting .343 against lefties with two of his five home runs coming in 35 at-bats compared to him hitting .315 with three home runs in 108 at-bats against righties.

On the season 50% of balls put in play off Gomber pitches have been fly balls which is a negative for him playing at home in Coors Field tonight.

Get Castellanos to hit a home run tonight at +340 while other Phillies hitters possibly hitting a home run include J.T. Realmuto (+390) and Trea Turner (+420).

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Josh Jung (+390)

It's known by now the Athletics have one of if not the worst pitching staff in the MLB as they send lefty Ken Waldichuk to take on the Rangers tonight at 9:40pm ET.

He's allowed a whopping 12 home runs already this season in just 36 innings pitched and when you break it down even further, Waldichuk allows a home run to right-handed hitters once every 11 at-bats!

This leaves a great shot for third baseman Josh Jung to hit a home run tonight batting .353 with four home runs in 34 at-bats against lefties on the season.

His other four home runs have come against righties in 105 at-bats so metrics show Jung prefers lefties over righties when it comes to the long ball.

This is a juicy matchup for all Rangers hitters so in addition to Jung listed at +390 to hit a home run, you could also look at Marcus Semien (+390) and Jonah Heim (+470) to hit home runs tonight against the Athletics as well!
