Holy Cross moved to 4-10 after defeating Bucknell at home. The Crusaders held off a strong rally from the Bison, and walked away with a two-point loss. Holy Cross is scoring, while allowing ppg, and shooting from the floor. Fifth-year senior Gerald Gates is having another productive season, and after going for 23 points and 14 boards against Bucknell, he leads HC in scoring (17.5) and rebounding (8.8).
Navy improved to 8-5 after beating Boston U on the road. The Midshipmen bounced back from a loss to VCU to open conference play with a 17-point win over the Terries. Navy is scoring 74.8 points per game, while shooting 48.3% from the floor, and 41.1% from deep. Senior forward Tyler Nelson went for a season-high 25 points in the win over Boston, and he leads the team with 14.2 ppg and 5.8 rpg.
