The Hofstra Pride will travel to the Island FCU Arena on Friday evening in a Colonial Athletic Association matchup to take on the Stony Brook Seawolves. The Pride are 21-8 (14-2) so far this season and are riding a nine-game winning streak after a 73-43 home win on Thursday against the Hampton Pirates. The Seawolves are 10-18 (6-9) rig ht now and are coming off a 71-68 overtime home win against the William & Mary Tribe on Thursday. These teams also played on Feb. 4 with the Pride picking up a 79-58 home win.

The Hofstra Pride have been playing incredibly well and were able to pick up a 73-43 home victory against the Hampton Pirates. They dominated in the first half as they outscored Hampton 45-17. They shot the ball well as they were 29-of-67 (43.3 percent) overall, 6-of-23 (26.1 percent) from the three, and 12 free-throw attempts. Senior guard Aaron Estrada led the team as in 27 minutes he finished with 21 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Defensively, they were dominant in what they were doing as they allowed 23.4 percent from the floor and 11.1 from deep here. Hofstra did extremely well as they finished with 10 steals and nine blocks throughout the game. 

The Hofstra Pride are doing very well this season as they are 126th in the nation with 74 points per game thus far and shooting an outstanding 48 percent from the floor and are averaging 14.5 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 66.1 points per game, which is 73rd in the country. They need to improve with 2.8 blocks and 6.8 steals per game thus far.
