The Hofstra Pride will travel to the TD Arena on Saturday afternoon in a Colonial Athletic Conference matchup to take on the 18th-ranked Charleston Cougars. The Pride are 14-8 (7-2) so far this season and are riding a two-game winning streak after an 82-65 road win on Thursday against the Elon Phoenix. The Cougars are an incredible 21-1 (9-0) right now and are on a 20-game winning streak after coming off an 87-61 road win against the Northeastern Huskies last Saturday. This is the only time that these programs will face off against one another during the regular season.

The Hofstra Pride have been playing well and were able to pick up an 82-65 road victory against the Elon Phoenix. They did extremely well in the second half as they outscored Elon 49-30. They shot the ball at an incredible level as they were 33-of-59 (55.9 percent) overall, 16-of-34 (47.1 percent) from three, and  single free-throw attempts. Senior guard Aaron Estrada led the team as in 39 minutes he finished with 40 points, four rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Defensively, they did a decent job as they allowed 40.6 percent from the floor and 29.6 from deep here. Hofstra did well as they finished with five steals and four blocks throughout the game after forcing eight turnovers. 

The Hofstra Pride are doing a good job this season as they are 151st in the nat ion with 73.2 points per game thus far and shooting a solid 47.5 percent from the floor and are averaging 14 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 68.2 points per game, which is 153rd in the country. They have been causing issues with four blocks and 7.2 steals per game thus far.
