Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Bryce Harper Over 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+110)
Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Bryce Harper is batting .300 with an .821 OPS, four home runs and 26 RBI since returning to action in early May.
He has heated up recently, batting .385 in July while clearing this total in 7 of his last 11 games. Harper has an impeccable track record against Milwaukee Brewers starter Julio Teheran, going 19-47 (.404 BA) with 9 home runs and 21 RBI.
Teheran has really struggled in his last two outings with 13 earned runs allowed on 16 hits across only 11.2 innings of work. Harper isn’t the only Philly that Teheran has had issues with as Trea Turner is 10-25 against him with a home run & Kyle Schwarber is 5-12 with two doubles.
Harper loves some home cooking as he is batting .337 at Citizens Bank Park compared to batting only .270 on the road. This is the perfect matchup for Harper and while we need to record 3+ HRR, we do get it at +110 odds.
Hitter Prop Prediction 2: Christian Yelich Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125)
Milwaukee Brewers left-fielder Christian Yelich is in the middle of a bounce back season where he is currently batting .286 with an .850 OPS, 13 home runs and 49 RBI.
Yelich has been in the zone during the month of July with a .356 batting average, four home runs and 12 RBI across 51 plate appearances. He has also recorded 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in 18 of his last 24 games (75%).
Philadelphia Phillies starter Aaron Nola has struggled with Yelich throughout his career, allowing him to go 10-30 (.333 BA) with a home run, triple and two doubles. Nola is coming off a start where he allowed five earned runs on eight hits including three home runs across six innings pitched.
Yelich has consistently hit for similar numbers at home and on the road and Citizens Bank Park is known as a hitter’s paradise.
