Hitter Prop Prediction 1: Javier Baez Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-105)
Detroit Tigers shortstop Javier Baez is in the midst of a brutal 2023 season with a .220 batting average and only 6 home runs & 44 RBI. Baez has fallen short of 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI in his last three and 13 of his last 30 games.
The opposing starting pitcher Jordan Lyles has owned Baez throughout his career, holding him to 1-19 with 6 strikeouts. Lyles is having an ugly season himself but has been better of late, tossing five innings of one run baseball against the Cleveland Guardians in his last outing.

Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr is having the best season of any player on his team with a .764 OPS, 16 home runs and 51 RBI across 395 plate appearances.
Witt Jr has been on an absolute heater recently with 1.197 OPS, .370 batting average, 4 home runs and 12 RBI across 48 plate appearances. He also has a great short term track record against Detroit Tigers starter Matt Manning, who he is 3-6 against with a double.
Manning has pitched above average in 2023 with a 3-1 record, 3.72 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. However, he maxes out around 5-6 innings of work which leaves the bullpen holding the bag for 2-3 innings.
The Detroit bullpen was a strength for the Tigers, but they have taken a step back with a 4.27 ERA (ranked 18th) over the last 30 games. Witt Jr has cleared this total in 8 of his last 13 games despite the line being set a 2.5 and we get plus money on top of that.
