The Princeton men's basketball team has never won March Madness. The Tigers are one of 12 teams left in the 2023 tournament that has yet to win a National Championship.
The Tigers have made have made one appearance in the Final Four. That came during the 1965 NCAA Tournament in which Princeton fell to Michigan by a score of 93-76 in the semifinals.
Princeton's men's basketball team made the Elite 8 during t he 1965 NCAA Tournament, which remains the school's only appearance in the quarterfinal round. That squad was one of 23 competing for a title that year and it played in the East Region.
The Tigers were the last team standing in the East Region after they defeated Penn State (60-58), NC State (66-58) and Providence (109-69). As mentioned above, Princeton fell to Michigan in the Final Four.
