The narrative heading into this season for the Packers surrounded quarterback Jordan Love and his ability to lead the Packers into the next chapter in team history. After going 9-8, earning a wildcard spot, and finishing with over 4,000 yards passing and 32 touchdowns, so far so good for Love and the Packers. Love and the Packers now get a shot at the second-seed Dallas Cowboys in the Wildcard Round on Sunday. Love brings with him a stellar receiving cast that features rookie wideout Jayden Reed who finished the season with nearly 800 yards receiving and eight touchdowns. Love also has two quality tight ends in rookies Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave. The pair combined for nearly 65 catches this season. The team also has a veteran backfield in Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Both appear healthy as they prepare for this matchup.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Packers have a pair of pass-rushing linebackers in Rashan Gary and Preston Smith. The duo combined for 17 sacks on the season. The Packers' secondary has improved throughout the season with several no-name talents that have gotten better as the season has worn on. They will be challenged against the Cowboys' elite passing attack. Their defense and, most importantly, their quarterback appear to be ready.

“Every game I go through a checklist of what I tell myself, things to try to tell myself to relax, calm down, see the game, let it come to me, and just focus on all the little details that I can focus on, control what I can control,” Love said. “So I don't think it will be any different than any other game. Obviously, it will be an away game, it will be a loud environment. So just trying to get my feet and get settled into the game will be huge.”

The Packers have the youngest offense in the NFC playoffs and the youngest roster overall. Still, the team has played beyond its years thus far. The Packers come into this game ranked 12th in points per game this season. They are 9th in rushing offense, which has improved in recent weeks with the return of Aaron Jones from injury. The Packers are 12th in passing offense this season. Green Bay has not hurt themselves, ranked sixth in the NFL in giveaways this season. The Packers offense has done its most damage the third quarter this year, ranked first in scoring in the NFL in the third quarter. They have struggled in the second quarter, ranked 25th in the NFL in second quarter scoring.

The Packers defense has come on strong down the stretch. The team ranks 10th in points per game allowed this season. The Packers are 23rd in rush defense this season. They are 9th in pass defense which will be critical against the powerful Cowboys' pa ssing game. The Packers have not been very effective at causing turnovers, ranked 23rd in the NFL in takeaways this season. The Packers defense has been steady with similar scoring defense ranks in the first, second and fourth quarters. They are ranked just 24th in 3rd quarter points allowed this season.

Key Injuries: LB P.Smith (ankle), DL T.Slaton (knee), S J.Owens (knee), RB A.Jones (knee), G E.Jenkins (knee), CB J.Alexander (shoulder), OT C.Jones (foot), RB AJ Dillon (stinger), and WR R.Doubs (chest) are questionable. WR C.Watson (hamstring) is doubtful.
