The Gonzaga Bulldogs remained perfect in WCC play on Saturday night with a 101-74 romp over San Diego. The Zags were led by Ben Gregg's career-high 22 points in the win while Graham Ike scored 15 of his 19 points in the first half in the one-sided win over the Toreros. The Zags shot nearly 57% from the field overall and over 43% from 3-point range in the contest. The Zags jumped out to a 20-point lead at the half and benfitted from Gregg's breakout performance.

“It feels good. I feel like I've had a pretty mediocre beginning to the season so far, so to see some more shots go in tonight felt good and now just building on that, getting more consistent with it and bringing it every game,” Gregg said. “It's fun to have those type of nights.”

The Zags are off to an uneven start based on their lofty standards at 11-4 this season. They are 3-0 in league play as they get set to take on Santa Clara. The Zags are 25th in the nation in scoring offense this season. They are 24th in field goal percentage and 185th in 3-point shooting. The Zags are 102nd in the nation in scoring defense this season. They are 32nd in field goal defense and 132nd in 3-point defense thus far. The Zags are perennially one of the best rebounding teams in the country and that has continued this season, ranked 10th in the country in total rebounds per game. The Zags are 137th in turnovers per game this season.
