The 14th-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs will travel to the Chiles Center on Saturday evening in a West Coast Conference matchup to take on the Portland Pilots. The Bulldogs are 17-4 (6-1) so far this season and are coming off a 99-90 road win last Saturday against the Pacific Tigers. The Pilots are sitting at 11-12 (3-5) right now and are coming off a 79-60 road loss on Thursday against the Loyola Marymount Lions. These teams played back on Jan. 15 and Georgia picked up a 115-75 home win.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs have been playing well and were able to pick up a 99-90 road victory against the Pacific Tigers. They did extremely well in the second half as they outscored Pacific 52-43. They shot the ball at a great level as they were 37-of-63 (58.7 percent) overall, 6-of-19 (31.6 percent) from three, and 29 free-throw attempts. Senior forward Drew Timme led the team as in 34 minutes he finished with 38 points, five rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and a pair of turnovers. Defensively, they struggled as they allowed 47.6 percent from the floor and 45 from deep here. Gonzaga needs to improve as they finished with three steals and five blocks throughout the game after forcing only six turnovers. 

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are doing phenomenally well this season as they are leading the nation with 86.5 points per game thus far and shooting a remarkable 51.8 percent from the floor and are averaging 16.5 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 73.7 points per game, which is 297th in the country. They have been causing issues with 3.2 blocks and 7.8 steals per game thus far.
