The Golden State Warriors recently welcomed back Stephen Curry from injury but that has not translated into wins lately. The Warriors are riding a three-game losing streak and are stuck in the 7th spot in the Western Conference standings. On Saturday night, the Warriors fell in Memphis to the Grizzlies 133-119. Golden State's potent offense went cold with the team shooting just 43% from the field. In particular, the Splash Brothers Curry and Klay Thompson combined for just 30 points on 11-of-32 shooting. Jonathan Kuminga was a bright spot for the Warriors with a season-high 24 points while Jordan Poole added 21 points in the loss. A 21-3 Memphis run to start the fourth quarter spelled doom for Golden State.

“I think we stopped making simple plays,” Draymond Green said of the Warriors' fourth-quarter collapse. “We got back into the game just by making simple plays. Then you don't make simple plays an d make a couple of mistakes.

“We were fighting an uphill battle all night, so it's hard to continue to come back.”

The Warriors need to close strong with just 10 games left and a half game separating themselves from sixth-place Dallas. The Warriors come into this road tilt as the second leading scoring team in the NBA. They are 13th in field goal percentage and third in 3pt shooting. On the defensive end, Golden State ranks just 25th in points allowed this season. The Warriors are 14th in opponent's field goal percentage and just 20th in 3pt defense. The Warriors are 11th in total rebounding in the NBA. The team is a dismal 29th in turnovers per game and 15th in forcing turnovers.

Key Injuries: Kevon Looney is questionable for Monday while Gary Payton II and Andrew Wiggins are both out.
