The Boston Celtics will host the Golden State Warriors in a showdown between the teams that met in the 2022 NBA Finals. Golden State beat the Celtics 123-107 in San Francisco as a 2.5-point dog when these teams met on December 10. Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry combined for 66 points in the first regular season meeting, and Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for 49 points for the Celtics.
Golden State is only 5-17 on the road this season and has the opposite record at home. The Dubs hope to prove that the worst road woes are behind them, as they have won two of their last three away from home after beating the Washington Wizards 127-118 on Monday. Curry went for 41 points against the Wizards, and Jordan Poole added 32, with both players grabbing seven boards as well. Draymond Green had a very efficient game in Washington, shooting 5 for 7 from the floor with 17 points, 10 assists, six boards, and three steals.
The heartbeat. The roaring. The defense.

Golden State is 20-23-1 against the spread this season and straight up seventh in the Western Conference. The Warriors are 14th in offensive efficiency and tied for 15th in defensive efficiency. Curry leads the team with 29.3 ppg, followed by Jordan Poole with 21 ppg and Klay Thompson, with 20.9 ppg. No surprise that one of the team's biggest strengths is three-point percentage ranking fifth with 37.4% of their threes made, and first with 16.3 threes made per game.
