Golden State Warriors at Indiana Pacers – 12/14/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Golden State Warriors and the Indiana Pacers collide at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in a rut as they’ve lost three of their past four games and they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting routed by the Bucks in a frustrating 128-111 road loss last night. Stephen Curry led the team with 20 points on six of 17 shooting, Jonathan Kuminga added 19 points off the bench while Jordan Poole chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Warriors shot just 40 percent from the field and 20 of 50 from the 3-point line as they allowed the Bucks off to a flyer, leaking 38 points in the first quarter to fall behind by as many as 26 points. The Warriors’ 3-point shooting was the only thing keeping them in the game, but they got dominated in the paint and eventually fell away in the third quarter.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been in rough shape as they’ve lost six of their last eight games and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after falling short to the Heat in an 87-82 loss on Monday. Buddy Hield led the team with 19 points, nine rebounds and two assists, Andrew Nembhard added 18 points while Myles Turner chipped in with 15 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks. As a team, the Pacers shot just 35 percent from the field and 11 of 39 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and fell into a hole after scoring just 19 points in the first quarter which kept them behind for most of the game until the fourth quarter where they scored just 18 points. Tyrese Haliburton had a night to forget as he finished with just one point on zero of nine shooting from the field.
