Georgia vs. Kentucky Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-19-2022

Top-ranked Georgia will wrap up the conference portion of its schedule when it travels to Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs have won all 10 of their games this season and are favored to defend their College Football Playoff title. Kentucky’s disappointing campaign came to a climax last week in a disastrous loss to Vanderbilt.

This will be Georgia’s final test of the regular season before the Bulldogs face LSU in the SEC title game at the beginning of December. They will host Georgia Tech next week in what will almost certainly be a blowout. Georgia has gone a perfect 10-0 through its first 10 games this season, including a decisive win over then-No. 1 Tennessee at the beginning of November. Georgia did not let off the gas pedal last week, rolling to a 45-19 win at Mississippi State. The Bulldogs have outscored opponents by an average of 29 points and are ranked inside the top 10 on both sides of the ball.

Veteran quarterback Stetson Bennett has posted career-highs in completion percentage (67.6) and yards (2,895) with at least four games remaining in the season. Bennett has been very efficient, throwing just five interceptions in 330 attempts. The Bulldogs spread the ball around—nine different receivers have at least 10 receptions—which makes them very difficult to stop. They also have six different players who have rushed for at least 100 yards. Georgia has won 12 consecutive meetings between these teams and holds a 61-12 advantage in the all-time series. The Bulldogs have won each of their last five games by 14 points or more this season, and they have gone 10-0 SU (8-2 ATS) in their last 10 road games. They have yet to allow more than 22 points in a game this season.
