Georgia Tech has had a miserable year thus far both overall and particularly in the ACC. On Wednesday night, the Yellow Jackets were able to stop a nine-game losing streak with a 70-68 buzzer-beating win over Notre Dame. The Yellow Jackets were able to overcome a six-point Notre Dame lead in the second half to finally halt their losing streak. Lance Terry led the way with 19 points, including the tip-in at the buzzer to pull out the win. Ja'von Franklin added 16 points and nine rebounds.

Georgia Tech, not surprisingly, is near the bottom of a number of statistical categories in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets rank 13th in the conference in scoring thus far and have the 13th ranked 3pt field goal percentage in the ACC as well. The Yellow Jackets have been sloppy as well, ranked 12th in fewest turnovers per game in the ACC. On the defensive side of the court, GTU is ranked 10th in scoring defense in the conference. They have been surprisingly effective on the perimeter, ranking third in the conference in 3pt defense. The Yellow Jackets are fifth in the conference in total rebounding.
