Two Sun Belt teams face off in a conference matchup on Thursday, Jan. 19. Georgia State is coming off of a convincing win over Coastal Carolina in their last game. Old Dominion has lost back-to-back games and they hope to get back on track. The tip off between these two teams is slated for 7 P.M. EST.
Georgia State is 9-9 overall and they are 2-4 in conference play. The Panthers are currently in 11th place in the Sun Belt Conference. Georgia State snapped a three-game losing streak by dominating Coastal Carolina 100-66 on Saturday, Jan. 14.
Coastal Carolina never led in the game as Georgia State shot 63.8% from the field and 57.1% from behind the 3-point line. Ja’Heim Hudson scored 26 points on 9-for-13 shooting. He also went 4-for-7 from behind the 3-point line. Dwon Odom is the leading scorer for the Panthers with 14.6 points per game. Odom scored 16 points on 8-for-9 shooting in the win over Coastal Carolina.
